Yay for the alphabet bus! Thanks Jocelyn.
Mr. Potato Head rules!
Sean, Makaela and Cat went out to Sebeka, Minnesota for Christmas this year. The following pictures are from our trip...we stayed Jeannie's Martini's house (Sean's Mom). We had fun at her busy household, did some wedding planning, shot guns and played in the snow. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody!

Preggie-Cat shoots a 22 and hits the far off can! What a great shot. Good ol' fun in the mid-west.

Yummy Birthday Cake!
Makaela turns two on Friday, Dec. 15th. We celebrate her birth with her first big birthday party!
Makaela looks at mommy as I open a peice of candy for her to put on the gingerbread house. It goes into her mouth instead...see next picture.

These next two photos are copies of professional pictures we had taken of Makaela, while in Hawaii. She was only 11 months here. We finally got the prints and they are so beautiful!!!!

Makaela is finally sleeping in her toddler bed, but not without all her special stuffed animals and toys! It took about two weeks for her to be comfortable in the bed. One night during the transition, I came in to find that she had quietly brought every single toy, blanket and stuffed animal up onto her bed while Sean and I thought she was sleeping. She was in organizing for 30 minutes before she came out to check on us. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw what she had done. This picture is from another night of similar activities.
Sporting her rabbit ears, Makaela brought a book out to the deck for some reading. This book is one of author Richard Scarry's books.
Snuggling with the blanket Nana made for Makaela. She sleeps with this blanket every night.
Makaela is such a jabber-box! Here she pretends to talk on the phone. When she puts the phone up to her ear, the first thing she says is "Yo!".

Yummy Halloween candy! This is her first Nerd experience and she eats them one by one as mommy has instructed. Her fingers are stained red by the time they're all gone.
Mommy and Elmo stroll the streets in search of candy on Halloween. Thanks Makaela, you can't have any....just kidding.
Elmo overload at our house lately. Look closely and you'll see three.

Makaela's recent obsession with Sesame Street's Elmo prompted us to get this costume for her for Halloween. When she's not wearing it she carrys it around like a beloved stuffed animal.

Makaela: "Mommy, can you bend over and help me jump off this dock onto the gravel below? "
Mommy: "No, sorry honey. I can't bend over that far."
